Alessandro Tarello is a quantitative analyst in the Fixed Income Investment Department of Columbia Threadneedle Investments. 

 

He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Politecnico di Torino, and held research positions at MIT and NASA JPL where he worked on optimisation over Mars proximity links as part of the Phoenix Mars Lander mission

 

Currently his research interests are in the areas of Machine Learning and statistical learning applied to financial markets.
